Background

At 18 years old, I moved to New York City and began building a career in public relations and corporate advertising. I worked alongside a variety of industries including telecom, pharmaceuticals, beauty, travel and sports. In 2016, I decided to leave the city and took sabbatical in Costa Rica for the winter. This trip marked a turning point in my personal and professional journey. I returned to the U.S. with a renewed sense of purpose. I spent a few years working for a startup before ultimately committing to the medical school path. I’m ready to move back to the city where it all began, carrying with me the lessons, gratitude, and perspectives that have shaped both my life and my calling to medicine
